SELLER'S DECLARATIONS

1) The seller maintains a parasite- and disease-free environment.
2) Puppy is purebred and eligible for
limited { } (pet = limited CKC or AKC registration)
3) Seller is not a veterinarian.
4)The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health to the best of my knowledge at the time of sale and/or shipping (a licensed veterinarian must examine and check your puppy within 48 hrs to validate the health guarantee.... and I urge you to do so).
5) Puppy has been examined by a licensed veterinarian within tens day of shipping.
6) Puppy is taken on an "as is" basis.
7) The seller assumes no responsibility of the puppy after leaving the premises, for medical expenses, injury, medical problems, landlord disapproval, allergy to puppy, disagreement of family, or for any other reason.
However, if at ANY time the buyer can longer provide proper care of said puppy, the puppy/dog MUST be returned to Chic Chihuahuas at the buyer’s expense.
8) All puppies have been wormed and vaccinated against infectious diseases.
9) All Chic Babes are lovingly raised underfoot.
10) All puppies are well socialized.
11) Buyer and Seller understand it is the obligation of both parties to work toward improving the breed, if breeding is chosen.

SELLER'S REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS

1) Your puppy should be altered on or before the age of eight months ( Buyer will receive registration papers when seller receives proof of neutering/spaying (i.e. certificate of neutering/spaying from a licensed veterinarian).
2) Puppy is sold as an indoor companion pet. This means your new puppy/dog should be spending most of its day inside with YOU (its new owner, buddy, pal, and lifelong friend) for companionship!
~DO NOT~ attempt to leave your Chihuahua outside in the cold weather!!
Chihuahuas DO NOT tolerate the cold weather, and they can die from it!
3) No puppy is ever to be euthanized. This is forbidden!
(In the event this becomes mandatory, purchaser must provide the seller with a full veterinary report within 72 hours)
4) Puppy may not go to any of the following: Pet Shop, Research Facility, Laboratory, Puppy Mill, Backyard Breeder, or any/all similar type facilities engaged in the business of animals for any reason or purpose.
5) Puppy will be provided with the following: annual veterinarian exams, including heartworm checks & preventatives, regular de-worming, yearly vaccinations (including rabies).
6) Purchaser fully understands that no cash refunds/exchanges will be given. PLEASE choose your puppy carefully, there are no exchanges.
7) Full payment is due prior to possession of puppy.
Pay-Pal, Postal Money order, or Cash are the ONLY methods of payment AZ Chic Chihuahuas currently accepts.
8) If puppy is shipped, purchaser is responsible for ALL cost incurred.
9) Purchaser is to pick puppy up immediately upon arrival at the airport.
10) Seller is to be notified directly after purchaser receives puppy from the airport.
11) Please provide your puppy with its current diet of Royal Canin Puppy 33 Mini dry kibble (UNTIL THE AGE OF 12 MONTHS AT WHICH TIME YOU NEED TO SWITCH TO ROYAL CANIN Chihuahua 28 DRY KIBBLE).
12) Buyer agrees to continue to provide proper socialization and nonviolent obedience training to the extent that the dog will not be a threat or menace to other animals, people, or property, but rather, a Canine Good Citizen!!
13) Buyer MUST provide puppy with the following: LOTS OF love, affection, & attention! Puppy is to be given adequate and proper shade, outside housing (this does NOT mean your dog can be outside for long periods of time!), a secure fence, and exercise area with sufficient food & water at all times.
This puppy/dog is NEVER to spend its life on a chain or in a kennel, and is NOT to be mistreated in any way!!
14) Buyer agrees to be a responsible dog owner and pledges to take care of all their dog’s needs (including safety needs!) so it remains healthy and happy!
SAFETY means: NO CHIC CHIHUAHUA IS EVER TO BE HOUSED WITH AN AGGRESSIVE DOG (THEREFORE, IF YOU CURRENTLY OWN AN AGGRESSIVE DOG. ~ DO NOT SIGN THIS LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT~)

15) NEVER! EVER! UNDER ANY TERMS, CONDITIONS, OR OTHERWISE should ANY CHIC CHIHUAHUA Puppies or Dogs ever be INVOLVED (EVEN REMOTELY INVOLVED) in the horrific, illegal business of dog fighting in any way, shape, or form. If you violate this requirement it shall result in IMMEDIATE REPOSSESSION of puppy/dog BY A CHIC CHIHUAHUA OWNER, EMPLOYEE, OR REPRESENTATIVE, THE SHERIFF/LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, ASPCA, HUMAN SOCIETY, PETA, ETC. will be notified immediately.
16) Buyer understands and agrees that the puppy/dog may at no time be sold, transferred, relinquished, given away, or traded without prior written permission from Chic Chihuahuas.
17) The CKC/AKC registered name of this puppy will be_________________________ (YOUR CHOICE) but will include “Chic’s” PRIOR TO YOUR CHOICE NAME.

18) Buyer agrees to NEVER use a collar on the puppy because it could very easily break their neck if the dog is grabbed by the collar (by mistake or on purpose) or if the collar gets stuck on something around the house or in the yard. The puppy’s neck could also break if a leash is attached to the collar and a jerk or sudden movement is made. USE A HARNESS INSTEAD!

Any/all disputes regarding this contract shall be brought before the state of Arizona courts of law in the town of Sierra Vista, Arizona. The health of the above puppy is guaranteed for 7 days through examination by a licensed veterinarian at the buyer’s expense. For infections, unsatisfactory or poor health, and contagious diseases (the cause of which is clearly attributable to the seller and a licensed veterinarian presents written documentation), Chic Chihuahuas will cover the cost of veterinary services only if rendered at Chic’s veterinary office of choice.
This puppy is guaranteed for 2 years for any life threatening hereditary congenital defects. If the puppy is tested and found to have a life threatening hereditary condition, Chic shall replace the puppy provided the puppy andregistration papers are returned (at the buyer’s expense) for the next available similar puppy.
This guarantee does not cover any common puppy ailments such as:
Fleas , worms, mange mites (this includes demodex, puppy mange, & sarcoptic mange), vitamin deficiencies, viral bacterial diseases or diseases brought on by parasites, kennel cough, coccidia, giardia, or parasites, as they are common in dogs and puppies.
We do not cover common breed health issues such as patellar luxation, hip dysplasia, progressive retinal atrophy, cryptochordism, hydrocephalus, MVP, and hemophilia.
Flying puppies is always a concern, so we want to make sure to understand some of the risks involved. These risks are the responsibility of the buyer. Your puppy can develop a runny nose or kennel cough, which is very common and can be treated by your veterinarian.
Puppies are sold as pet quality unless otherwise noted. No guarantee is made regarding temperament, size, or conformation.
Guarantee will be valid only if a licensed veterinarian sees puppy within 48 hours of arrival.
